The Polar Explorer is the latest documentary film by Mark Terry, just completed for a special viewing at COP16 in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme. It is is a follow-up to last year's film The Antarctica Challenge: A Global Warning.
That film of Mark Terry’s was the only one invited to screen to world leaders and delegates attending COP15 in Copenhagen last year. Mark just returned in late October 2010 from a 3-week expedition in the Arctic aboard the ice breaker Amundsen, where he and a team of scientists explored The Northwest Passage, gathered data on ice, marine life, climate and more.
