IPCC AR5 Scoping Meeting in Venice

The IPCC AR5 Scoping Meeting is organized in order to develop the scope and the outline of the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report, AR5, which will be finalized in 2014. The new assessment will take into account recent scientific and policy developments and will be organized around a revised set of socio-economic, climate and environmental scenarios. The outcome of the meeting will be a scoping document describing the objectives and the general structure of the future AR5, which will be submitted to the next IPCC Plenary Session, 26-29 October, Bali, Indonesia.
