UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) - Last meetings

The Second Special session of the Committee on Science and Technology (CST S-2) and the ninth session of the Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention (CRIC 9), subsidiary bodies of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), will convene from 16-25 February 2011, in Bonn, Germany. These meetings will address key issues related to the reshaping of the operation of the CST in line with the 10-year strategic plan and framework to enhance the implementation of the Convention (2008-2018) and the assessment of implementation of the Convention against the recently developed performance indicators, respectively.
